I was contributing as a Personal Development Coach to the 12 young women on the show. My role was to help them see that change/transformation does not occur from a place of comfort.
The chairs are child-sized with safety belts and our kid-friendly stylists are trained to provide a comfortable playful environment while cutting and styling kid’s hair with patience and speed.

I attended a fashion design school in Johannesburg just to understand how its done. I was only there for about 6 months before I became bored, as I had already learnt the skill of sewing.
My main goal is that every child in South Africa starts school having learnt the basic building blocks necessary for future learning, and that the work that BrainBoosters has begun goes from strength to strength, seriously impacting literacy and numeracy in South Africa.
I want to help women to love themselves and feel good about who they are. I believe that this is important for women, in order for us to have a positive impact on our children and ultimately on society.
Word of mouth is by far our most effective marketing tool; hence we focus so much on in-store customer experience. We want our customers to walk out feeling like they just had the ultimate tea experience. We are active on social media as well.
